what kind of car shows/competitions give prizes for crappy rims? Save up for some real wheels or don't bother.

The difference will be the weight of the wheels; the ADR'S probably weigh a ton....and the offsets; as mentioned -35 offset will have the wheels far inside the wheel well, which will necessitate spacers.

OP -- Don't get discouraged by the negative comments here. Do your research on the rims you would like to purchase. At the end of the day, it is your wallet & your taste that will decide what rims to purchase. Don't go thru life having someone else dictate what you want to do.

Having said that, the offsets on your typical 350Z rims are +31mm in front & +33mm in rear. The aftermarket rims you're looking at are not that much more tucked in (+35mm) than the stock rims. I have a set of track rims (with 275/40s) with +35mm offset & I use spacers to flush them out (10mm in front & 25mm in rear). However, the weight of the rims you're looking at may be an issue.

You mentioned OEM & NISMO rims. Here are used sets for sale in the DFW area. The NISMO rims are bronze and I think those will look good on your black Z. His asking price has come down to $900, which is fairly reasonable.

What do you think?
$548.99 wouldn't even buy one of my Volks! I would question the integrity and quality of the wheels at $137 a piece. To each his own, and i understand you may not have a lot of money to work with but i am going to guess you will regret it down the road and upgrade anyway and then you will be out a few hundred bucks, I'd just save a little more and get something a little bit nicer.

Thanks for the response guys. I'm taking my car to a 350z shop (great guy) who has shown mercy on my rookie questions. But I really want these wheels.

Quick question, can spacers alleviate this offset problem?

If it can make the offsets better, is there a price for doing this?

Please keep the responses going..I really appreciate it.

FN01-RCs are cheap I would seriously consider those and they are light. You also can get the right offset in those.

good god, the money you spend on spacers and since you are pretty much a noob to wheels youll probably pay someone to put them on, you could have just used that extra cash to buy the correct wheels in the first place.

+35 offset is horrible. like people have said already get a +25 - +18 offset or dont do it at all. It will look really bad otherwise.
