I just ordered and installed what I thought were my second set of kdw2's.

Upon further inspection I noticed that the center tread design is not like my last set.

Here is a crappy phone pic but you get the idea? What tires are these?

mine are 1 week old and are supposed to be the revised tread, they look alot like the old tread, but the blocks are slightly shifted to lessen the droning sound. They dont look like *anything* you just posted. Maybe those are the All Seasons?

KDW 3? Ha, haven't heard of such a beast. The outside treads are slighty smaller and a little more angular.

Its not a knock off. The sidewall say bfg g force kdw. I dont think the
kdw2's actually say "2" at the end of kdw.

And I can't find a single picture of this tread on any tire dealer's website.

Any tire vendors know whats up?

These look like retreads... I see these going to Mexico some times.

They may be BFG sidewalls, but the treads are recycled... who did you buy from?

I'm a tire dealer and have never seen this tire, neither online nor in catalogs. It looks like a combo of the of the BFG TA KDW and the KDW2s... very odd. Id def ask tire rack what was going on

 

I'm sponsored by BFG and they sent me my set of KDW's, pretty sure the new tread design and they look nothing like that. Curious to find out what's up with yours.

 

Ya Im gonna get to the bottom of it, thats for sure. Tirerack's trying to pull a fast one on me.
