Default Run a spacer, or a narrower tire?

Well I thought at 275 would fit the front, but its definitely contacting the inside suspension arm. It looks like 10-15mm out and it would clear. My question is, would you guys run a 10 or 15mm spacer, or would you just run a 245 series tire instead?

This is for road racing and autocross. I would rather keep the width, but I am gun shy about running a spacer in racing applications. Also the added labor of getting extended studs installed. Or if I get a spacer with studs built in I have to worry if I will have issues with the stock studs sticking out too far from the 10 or 15mm spacer into the wheel hub.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

they appear to be around 22 or 24mm offset (i had to measure, they arent labeled, they are CCW wheels which are made to order). 9.5in wide.

it's really depends on ur rear tires sizes. if you have 9.5 rims in front i asume that u have 10.5 rears.
you have to get new set of rears too.
i will say... 5mm or 10mm spacer.

9.5 wide +35 clears fine with 275's , so your offset is more than that, just run a 10mm spacer and call it a day.

wow okay, I was told they were a lot less than 35... i hate being lied to. I will pick up a set of spacers. I will call mynismo and talk to them about my options.

so in order for a 9.5F with a 275 to NOT fit and contact the inner suspension arm, this wheel has to be something like +38 or +40 right? ugh... pisses me off.

^ eh?

NO. more higher offset ur wheels tucked in.
lower offset your wheel/tire come out
so if your wheel has +20 offset and u add 5mm spacer = +15 offset.

But Try look your rear wheel offset.
don't make your front wheel come out more than rear wheels.

hopethis help ( check member of noodleman's post )

yeah I know how spacers work. I am pretty sure a 10mm spacer would work. I guess I would probably need to get them on all 4. Now the question is, should I get the ones with extended studs, or the ones with studs built in. Hmmm....

I would run the spacers that have the studs built in such as the kics ones. They just seem more sturdy than the extended studs. I feel like it puts more stress on the extended studs IMO

well I had to go with the Ichiba spacer because my CCW wheels do not have spaces in them for the stock studs to go into because the 10mm spacer is not thick enough cover them fully.
