Stock height with 19's looks worse than stock height with 18's.

Just my opinion though.

Those would look just fine..

Or in a bronze color maybe... Then when you have $$$ for 'volks and FI' you'll have a set of wheels you can take to the track and beat on.

I'm considering a 19"fr / 20rr" AXIS Penta combo.

Yeah I was thinking of doing a combo like 18 (f) and 19 (r) for the sake of weight. I'm impressed with how those torque's looks as well.

You are right; torques look real good. I also like the ROTAs.

I was just looking up the specs on the Penta's. On the 19x9.5 the weight is just 25 lbs 3'' lip and the 18x8.5 is 24 lbs 2.25'' lip so I would be real close to stock weight with a 18 (f) 19 (r) combo.

honestly for the spending range you mentioned... personally I would just get some hubcentric spacers (10-15mm) and keep the stock 18's maybe put a 35 series tire all around also instead of the 45's the stockies come with...... that is assuming you have the 06' or later stock wheels...... but that's just me.... Personally I wouldn't spend a dime on any of the brands that would fall into your price range....... either that or save up for something a little more expensive but also a lot higher in terms of quality.....

So you're saying every wheel these guys have suggested is poor quality? I feel $1500-$1700 is enough for rims. I can't justify spending $3000 on a set of rims unless I just had money to burn.
