Default Any DD with Falken Azenis RT-615

I want to run some Falken Azenis RT-615 possibly 255/40/18 all around on my 18x9 wheels and was wondering how they perform for daily driving. Does any one use them for their daily commute? How are they for you? I don’t X-cross or drift, but have an opportunity to buy at 50% off!

Help me out. I searched and couldn’t find the answer.

Although I have mine on an Evo, I can tell you these tires far exceeded my expectations. I DD and auto-x on these tires. I've had them on for almost a year and have ~20 or so auto-x's on them and they still have PLENTY of tread left on them.

I'd definitely say go for them.

i have them on my beater, fronts are almost at the wear markers and the rears have about 50% left. they are sticky as all hell and makes driving around town very fun. just dont expect them to last long but for 50% off, i would do it all over again.

I didnt want to spend money on tires that I cant DD, but I can always trade if I dont like them like "iStan" stated. Thanks "bboy". Having them for a year is more than enough time for me since a only drive 10 miles tops every day.

I don't have them on my car, but I have a friend who dd's them on his STI, and he swears they are one of the best tires he's driven on. Like everyone said though, they are super sticky. He's ran them on his summer tires for almost 2 seasons now, and they aren't quite gone yet.

i'm running them as my dd. they're 265/35/18 all-around. really good tires for the price. they're sticky when the weather's fine but i don't recommend driving them in the rain. gets kinda scary at times.

I wonder if they are worse than 555s in the rain.

I find the 615s are a little risky in the rain if you push it. If you're light on the pedal, it's not bad at all. I don't know how bad it will be once I'm almost through there tread life though.

One good thing about this forum is that someone will concur with anything.
