I've run RT-615's but only for autox/daily use and been very happy with the grip and response of them. That said, I've heard they can overheat and get a bit greasy at track days.
In the rain, the RT-615's are decent with good tread but can get a bit dicey at highway speeds when they get low on tread.
The FK452 isn't really in the same category as the RT-615's as they have less dry grip but probably much better wear characteristics.
Other tires you may want to consider are the Bridgestone RE-01R, Yokohama Neova, Hankook RS-2, Dunlop Direzza Z1, and Kumho MX

I had 615's on my Miata...Loved em. WHen they get low on life they get slick...FYI
good in water until they are getting low on life.
lasted me 12k of daily use (Everyday is an autox) and a cpl autox's.
Buddy of mine is using RS2's on his turbo miata....I rode in it on a track day, held up very well. didn't overheat, no experience if the 615's overheat.

I have the FK452's on mine. They've given good life and handle well in the water, and are pretty sticky dry. Only downside is that even though my 03 has been aligned, they still wear a bit on the inside which leads to road growl. I might get another set, but then it depends on what else is out there for the price when I buy my next pair. I might go with a different tread pattern and higher wear ratings to offset the inner-wear defect.
