Falken FK-451, 245/40/18 front - 275/40/18 rear. I have mine for 14,500 miles so far, and the left front tire is almost bald on the inside threads. Thinking about either swap the front tires left and right, or buy new one's completely.

What's the average life for normal street driving on these FK-451 tires?

Any input would be appreciated..

is 14,500 miles too early to chage them out? how long are they suppose to last with 280 treadware rating?

i got almost 20k miles out of my fronts...

 

I have about 10,000 miles on mine, look brand new in the front but have some noise. Rears are showing some wear, but not as bad as the RE040 did.

 

swapped the tires today, left & right.. I'm hoping that it will last another 6000 miles, so I can get about 20,000 miles out of them..
