Question

Not my flavor....would look better IMO without the rivets.

BTW, is it just me, or does the rear tire look way too small?

Is it just my eyes or do the back tires look smaller in diameter than the fronts? Maybe it is just the gap between the tire and the fender ?!?

correct on the i-forged, they are 295/30/18's on the back and 285/30/18's on front the wheels are 10's and 11's...i have a pic of the tire if you'd like to see that too...and your question about the gap, or "smaller diameter on rear"....well the car obviously hasn't been lowered...hehe...maybe later...

Sorry, but the low profile tires look ridiculous......like buggy wheels....maybe it's just the photos. Are they the same rolling diameter as stock?

I am no expert, but I think your 30's are way off in size, you should be running at least a 40 profile tire, you overall diameter is way low. I run 35's on my 19" wheel.

But, if it works for you....

Yea these wheels are huge compared to stock! Actually though these wheels are not for this car. My dad bought them for his 93 Supra. We were just test fitting them on the Z to see how they fit and looked. Just thought I would share my photos with everyone. The back wheel bothers me because the low profile tires leave such a huge gap between the tire and the fender. 18X9's and 18X10's would be a better fit for this car. But as far as looks go, they look great on the car...in my opinion. Can't beat Iforged Aeros on any car...hehe

Yeah.....he's WAY off.

We're talking a -6.4% difference in the rear. When his speedometer reads 70mph, he's only going 65mph.

Hey, but at least it is 6.4% smaller. Aside from asthetics, being 6.4% smaller would almost be like putting a slightly higher final drive ratio. While I wouldnt recommend 6.4% smaller, I believe that its better to be slightly smaller than larger.

The wheels look great. What color does I-Forged call the centers?
I know you were just checking the fit, but did you drive them around? Would that 10 with 285's on the front actually work on the Z?

Thanks,
Bob

Yeah, but the rear looks pretty rediculous right now. I personally would've saved for some coilovers if I knew the gap was gonna be that huge! Oh, well, not my car.

Wheels look good, just not the gap.

no we didn't drive them around. We only put 2 of them on one side just for the picture and to see how they fit. I am not sure about the center color, but it is just a polished silver. I can ask my dad about it..he may know. He bought the wheels from a guy that has a 97 Supra but has decided to sell the car. He decided to sell the car after he had already bought the Iforged wheels so the wheels are brand new and have never been driven. He got them at a pretty fair deal, but he has decided he doesn't like the gunmetal finish so he is going to have them either powder coated or painted a bright silver for his 93 Red supra. Surprisingly these wheels looked great on my car, but on his they looked bad. The colors of the two cars are very similar, his being a little darker than mine. I thought they looked great, and if my car was lowered, aww that would look awesome!! Too bad I'm in college and can't afford wheels right now...one day though....

the only thing I don't care for on them is the center caps not being painted to match. repainting the wheels will solve that problem though.
