20" wheels,350z: how is the ride and turning
Not looking for speed, just want to buy rims for look and feel; I just wanted to ask 350z owners with 20" rims how they like the feel of the ride and if or any of the turning is lost; should I buy or not buy 20" rims for my 350z

No seriously, 20's are fine as long as you get the right offsets, style, and tire combination. After you read this, you will see a lot of the gearheads telling you that they "slow the acceleration" or "ride rough." Yes, 18"-19' are optimal for performance, but who autox's on the street on the way to work everyday? In my opinion 20's look better, but the stock rims make the car feel faster. Almost any deviation from the stock diameter will make the car's suspension feel "different." Not by a large amount, but you will notice it. It's not ridiculous though. The steering feels the same to me.
Anyway, welcome to the forum and you should be careful about asking general questions, because topics like this has have been posted tons of times. Always search before posting.

well said ^
My 20s looked great but made the car feel just a bit different. Turning wasnt different though. You need to find out what you want to do with the car. If you want performance 18s would be good...for rolling around 20s look better.
I have my old set for sale..good if you want a pair of starter rims.

i got 20x10.5 rear and 19x8.5 in front. I wish I would just gone all 19's or 18s in front and 19 in rear. The 20 leaves no room for tire and I feel every crack on the road. Not fun anymore. Looks nice, always get complimented, but doesn't feel as great with smaller rims and more tire. I want more tire. Though, everyone is entitled to their opinions of course.
