Default VOLK SF CHALLENGES - Wheels Direct Online - question on company

So on November 5 2007 I placed an order for SF Challenges 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 with nitto nt555 from a company which I thought was a good dealer. Wheels direct online

http://www.wheelsdirectonline.com/

It is a huge hassel everytime I call, which seems like 1 of 2 people who answer the phone, and they dont seem like they can ever give a strait answer.

Just wondering if any of you guys have delt with them, and if I should be worried about any possiblility of not getting the rims. I know a lot say they waited a long time for their volks, It just seems out of the ordinary.

I am curious as to why you thought they were a good dealer? I don't mean that in a smartass rhetorical way, I just have never heard anything about them except for their ads in tuner magazines every month.

I am a big proponent of buying from the vendors here--you get great prices and there are as many reviews as you could possibly ask for.

There are a number of wheels (Volks among them) that take a long time because most places don't keep them in stock, and are often built-to-order. But 5 months is quite long. Good luck.

Hey maybe I can help you out. I live in Miami and maybe I can pass by and let them know what's going on.

Volk wheels are hard to get, but 5months is a bit much. I can't speak for the company, but most vendors on this site might have had them instock or to you in about 3months. I suggest you cancel your order and check with Andy@performance for what he has in stock.

Def should have checked with sponsors like Status, Performance Nissan, and F1 Motorsport.

+2 on Rick@Status. He should be able to get them for you pretty fast. Get a refund and talk to him! On my 3rd set of wheels ordered from him, great service.

I would stick to official volk dealers listed on Mackin's website. I don't believe any internet sites are listed there and that is probably why they are having problems.

i would definately be worried... I was going to get the g games wolf77 off them but they said it'll take 4 weeks to get which i thought was kinda fishy. and their prices were $500 cheaper than every1 else.. I know what u mean about calling them.. They rarely answer as well which tells u a lot about the company.. good luck
