Default lugnuts question for 5zigen Fn01r-c

Hey guys, i'm going to be putting on those rims on my car very soon and i have read quite a bit on lugnuts and the kind. my question is. are there any benefit at all with extended, open ended, forged(lightweight), brand, etc...? i was thinking since i'm putting on 5zigen brand rims, i'll get the matching 5zigen proracer line of lug nuts, now there are two, the reg short forged types, and the extended and what looks to me like its also open at the end. its about $150ish here from venders.

is it even worth getting? or can i even use my OEM lugnuts?

and which offers the best lock with their set of lugs?

Thanks

i have the same rims, the oem lug nuts will not fit-when i ordered
my wheels they came with some cheezy $1 each style nuts-they are
functional but i am worried about longevity(i track my car often
and switch from oem wheels to my 5zigens each time)

i posted on a similiar thread recently and a lot of people like
the mcguard spline drive lug nuts

one of the vendors is subydude and he said we can get a
good deal on a set-probably under $100

Each type of nut has some advantage. Most advantages are common sense:

open ended: No need to be concerned about bottoming-out. Easy to see broken lugs. Required by some racing rules.

extended: Easy to remove and install. Consider these for sports such as autocross.

I also have these rims and ran stock lug nuts for a bit. They fit fine. Even did two trackdays with them. The main reason I had for getting aftermarket was that I got longer studs and the stock lugs start eating away at your rim where they make contact. If you don't change wheels often then no big deal, but if you're changing wheels for track events, then aftermarhet lugs are the way to go. I went with Muteki SR lugs from mynismo.com
