Where is the speedometer sensor??
Did anyone ever find the answer to this question??? Is it on the front wheels or the rear wheels???
I assume that if the diameter of tire you switch to is smaller than stock, then your speedo reading will be too high, and the miles that add up on your odometer will eventually be higher than they actually should be. Correct??

yes its on the transmission which means back wheels basicly. changing back wheel diameter will throw off the speedometer. changing fronts will throw off tcs and antilock brakes(tho if you change them both by the same percentage your ok)
So I guess what we are saying is that the speedo is on the back. I will be like 1% too high on the back, going 60.7 mph instead of 60. The front would have actually been a lot closer to stock for me. Oh well, when the cop pulls me over, I will say, "my speedo is messed up". Then I will pay the ticket.
Maybe I will jack my car up in the back, run some really tall skinny tires, and go for 40 mpg, lol, maybe not.

you actually can get your speedo calibrated, but you have to get it fixed, not just tested, and theyll drop the ticket by the amount your off by. testing is cheap, bout 30$, so you can see if your off by a worth while amount to spend the 100+$ to have it fixed. .7 would not be worthwhile, but my truck was 8 off, that was worth it.

Ooops... Sorry for the bad indo. Anyone know why the sensors on the front wheels are refered to as "speed sensors" in the FSM?
I did not pay much attention, but noticed that when I was looking at the FSM for my brake/suspension upgrade.
