Default 275/35 on a 18x9.5 +20 Will I rub???

Ok I need to find out from anybody who has this setup on a STOCK SUSPENSION.

I plan on going 275/35's all around on 18x9.5 +20 wheel. I know i'll be fine in the back, but wanted to make sure if I'll rub or not in the front under hard cornering at the track.

Thanks!

edit: From my search, yes i did search, it seems like I will rub. So maybe 265/35 is better?

Fixed: Why don't you go more bigger in rear.

A: I do not think it will rub with stock suspension.

Edit: i just read it's for track set up.

Considering the proper size rear tire 275/40 doesnt rub , there will be no prob with 35's in the rear. Is this a track set up , please say it is , causy it will look goofy on the street with tiny rear tires.

Yes this is primarily for the track. But it will be my street setup for a while too. But so far no real life examples for the front yet huh?

I have 275/35 in the front and 275/40 both on 18x9.5+15. I'm on stock suspension no rubbing.

275/35 is going to have a fat wheel gap in the back with stock suspension.

I'm running 275/35/18 on 18x9.5 22offset all around with no issues. I ran this with stock everything and now lowered about an inch and -2.7 camber front and -2 rear.

Hmmm.....I think I'm thinking the wrong way.....initially I wanted a setup that would be awesome at the track and look good/drive well on the street. Well I think the reason this is so frustrating is that you can't best of both worlds huh?

So I might just go with 275/40 RR and 255/40 FR and then eventually get a set of dedicated track wheels/tires.

I lose the neutrality and the ability to swap tires, but I'm just getting into track driving so I won't be hardcore for a couple years.

Personally I think a 275/35 front 275/40 looks ok and the handling benefits are definitely worth it.

I love hoy the car looks with the sqaure setup and it handles great on the track. The only reason I would go wider in the back is if I go FI.

Looks the same as a 245/40 front when you look at it from the side. The benifit of the square setup is well worth it.

Ok so I just talked to tirerack and the the guy pretty much flipped when I told him I was considering +20 offset.

I told him my car is probably 75-80% street and 20-25% track. For this year at least.

He told me to go with this setup:

275/40/18 RR 9.5" +30
245/40/18 FR 8.5" +30

I'm wondering if that's too conservative

Theres plenty of people running a +20 or less off set.

With 275/40's in the rear on a 18x9.5 +15 its pretty flush.

+30 will be pretty sunk in.

I still wouldn't rule out the square set up right away.

im runnin 275/35-18 KDW2's on my Nismo wheels...theyre like a +24 offset? you'll be fine :P

the guy from tirerack was born without a set...he just doesnt want to suggest anything completely different from OEM, cause if you change the car it will obviously explode into flames :P . Non-staggered took mine from noticeable understeer to fairly neutral handling on the limit, better braking overall/more bite/more stability, more responsive turn in. best thing i've done to my car aside from the 4.08/LSD

and once you have a couple track events you'll get "hardcore" really quick ^_^

Tomorrow if I remember I'll post pics of +35 and then spaced w/ 15mm spacers to +20. You'll be fine. I'm not dropped however and am installing S-Tech's in the next few days....it could change then but I doubt it.
