Default Curb Rash!!!

hey,
How do you fix/clean curb rash?
any solutions? or who could do some work on wheels that live in NJ? any referrals? it would be greatly appreciated!

You should take it to a shop who specializes in fixing bent/curbed rims.

How good are you with tools? Are these stock wheels? Stock color? How bad is the curb rash? Meaning is it missing real big chunks?

Reason I ask is because my first job was repairing wheels for my uncles business. I can give you detailed instructions but only if you are willing to do the job yourself. If you have doubts then I suggest you look up in the Yellowpages etc and find a wheel repair shop. Yellowpages usually has rates and reviews. Also there's some repair shops that have mobile service.

its bad and noticeable but i dont know if i can do it myself...can you PM me the instructions...cuz i tried to hire professionals...and they wont even touch the wheel...its a Volk TE37...and its the lip...they said they cant do anything b/c of the finish on it...it was a aluminum/machine/polish finish and it would look different from the other 3 wheels...Volk stop making these wheels...what should i do?

A local shop specializing in wheel repair fixed a significant scrape on my stock Performance wheel. The wheel looks new. It cost me $100+.

I would think a Volk can be repaired.

The problem is the repaired wheel looks new (newer than the other wheels), but after a couple of months, they all look the same.
