to 19 or not to 19 .. to stay 18 is the questtion
Stupid question however for those who do not have their Z lowered, and went aftermarket rims ... did you:
go 18"s?
go 19"s?
why and how is the rid .. any pics ?

depends what you do with your car? If it's a daily driver and you treat it more of a cruising/spirited driving vehicle and you want to make it look good, then get 19's. If you are serious about performance then 18's, maybe even 17's if you are ganna full on race it.

Also, OP 19's would look absolutely ridiculous on a non lowered car.

thxx guys .. great feedback!
this is a daily driver and lowering not so much an option - just wondered if going 19's will look ridiculous without the slam.
my OEM 18's look great to me .. i just didnt want to move up an inch to sacrifice ride and handling

well depends on the specs also, 18's can also look ugly on a non lowered car and the tire specs determine the ride and handling more than the rims themselves. to me, not much of a difference depends on specs in 18's and 19's including tires
i have a roadster, so daily driving/cruising are my Z's priorities.
the 19's i got weigh the same as my stock 18's, but since I got wider tires.
The ride is rougher, tires are louder and gas mileage seems to have gone down a little.

i went from 18s to 19s and never looked back. I can't go back to 18s. If you get quality tires, the ride feels exactly the same (as in it won't be more rough because you're running 19s)
but if you get 19s, you almost definitely need to lower the car.

I figure the Tanabe GF210 springs give a 1" drop so should be enough still can use the stock shocks for a little while.
