If running the older 8inch front and back setup , i would have to run/suggest 245/40 and 245/45 combo for the best handling.

Yeah he has the anniversary wheels, and I also feel 275 45 is too wide for the wheels, but he seems to think it will be ok. He said he called discount tire, and they also said it wouldnt be a problem. Does anybody on here have that setup on the anniversary wheels? (275 40 18 on the rears) If you do, please post a pic to see what it looks like. I just think it will sink the rim a bit like in the pic on the previous page. Thanks for your help guys, just trying to help a bud out!!

I will be getting my 275/40-18's installed hopefully today, if not tomorrow. So I could snag some pictures if you can wait a bit.
Also, I have a question for everyone... would I be able to run a set of rears in the front to get a square setup rather than staggered?!

Better off with 275/35 fronts to keep the proper stagger in height but still get yourself a square setup.

Yeah... right now I am doing 245/40-18 Front, and 275/40-18 Rears. But, I was wondering if I could get a rear rim to work on the front, even maybe with a spacer, so I could get 275 in all four corners.
(edited for spelling 'tardedness).

Whoa, so I guess its ok.... I think hes going to go today and order the tires today, but I figured a 275 40 18 would be too wide for the 18x8.5 wheel, but if quite of few people have done it here and its good and they said at discount tire it would be ok, then what the hell I guess. I was just worried it wouldnt look good on his car

I got my 245 Front, 275 Rear on my stock 2006 Rims, which are the same as the Ann ed. (18x8 F... 18x8.5 R)... They look a bit meatier, but I like the look of it. I also went with the General UHP's, and I must add that they grip alot. I wish I was able to go to the strip before and after the tire change. The added width is really helping me hook.
Sorry, no pics yet, its a busy week and prolly won't happen for a while.
