Default ++ Valve Stem Size ++

Well Z'ers didn't want to start a thread but im trying to purchase some Valve Stems for my rims as the current ones are slashed somehow and already lost 1 tire because one of them out of nowhere really opened up as i was doing 75mph and sent my tire down the drain. Im looking for some metal ones preferably but i really don't know if i should be looking for a specific size or design.....any insight would be great

your local tire shop should have ones to fit your wheels in stock, just go there first.

Name a tire shop that has 'metal' valve stems like the OP wants.

^ i found numerous websites that sell metal valve stems but don't know if measurements are universal or if the Z has a special one. my car right now as i speak is at Pueblo Tire getting them replaced.....here is the catch, since im back in San Antonio and my car had to be left in McAllen (4hrs away) my mom is the one that took the car and according to her description this is the best Pueblo offered and they are 1/4 ruber and 3/4 metal with a copper/nickel tube inside, they are charging her $100 i tried to let me talk to the guy cuz IMO that is pretty high, but heck my rents are going to pay for them for once some of their cash will touch my car lol.

Default painted Work valve stems

LOL. I did the same exact thing with my Work valve stems. I really took my time and sanded them, taped off the threads, applied a couple coats of primer, and got some paint to match my car. Even put on a coat or two of semi-gloss clear-coat. They came out great (IMO). Good luck!

Well, thanks for the info. My Internet search turned up pretty much empty (for metal valve stems). I'll keep that in mind if I need another set.

As for now Discount was able to find some metal stems after all but now the i don't know who installed my Work lugs wrong and where broken when they where taken off in front of my mom since they didn't want to be blamed . Now im like wtf and having to buy new lugs

PS: what type of sand paper did you use?
