why would people put stock g35 rims on a 350z?
i hope they were given to you for free. cuz i can picture you wanting to sell those and buy some aftermarket wheels.
and not to bag on you or anything, car looks great btw

1. They're very light. You'll be hard pressed to find 19" rims that weight 18lbs.
2. IMHO, they look awesome. I love the look.
3. I wanted 19s and without going ridiculously heavy. I also can't justify spending $3K on a set of wheels. Not with all the home improvement I've been doing to my house. G wheels offer a fantastic blend of functionality and appearance, latter being more subjective ofcourse.
I bought my set used with basically brand new rubber for $1K. With the tires, the whole combo is much lighter than stock and I can definitely tell when driving. The G rims are wide enough to put decent rubber on them. I am not talking 285. For daily driving with some occasional corner fun, going with 245 front and 265 rear is perfectly fine with me.
I will try to post some pics when I have a chance. Redline Z with 19" Rays looks fantastic. BTW, to the OP, swap those Infinity caps out. The Z caps are a direct match size wise.

well, i guess its worth it if you like them. if you like the look of those g rims then go for it, i dont think its ugly. but as for it being lighter compare to stock z rims, i guess it could be (i dont know the weight of stock z wheels).
and you compared the 19" g wheels to your stocks, you said you notice it being lighter then stock? i dont know about that maybe you just notice a differece because you got a different set of wheels on.
when i had my stock 17" z wheels, i was taking corners and cayon runs like crazy, and always felt like i could go faster while im already making a fast turn. after i got my 19" volks te37(i think i read somewhere that they are like 22-23lbs, i could be wrong?) i lost some ***** to wanna make a turn like i use to. yea i notice a difference, but it wasnt for the good part. i can still handle the z well in turns but noticed to much understeer with the bigger size wheels, and i dont get that "hugging the floor" feeling anymore. thats why im looking to swap my 19" for a set of 18"...
post some pics of your redline. iv never noticed any g wheels with z center caps.
