HELP HELP HELP. I just bought a used (my first mistake) 19" Volk GT-C (8.5 front, 9.5 rear) with Nitto rubber for a great price. The wheels and tires are only two months old and have maybe 1500 miles on them... a deal I could not pass up. So I get the wheels to my house, jack my Z up, and bolt the rear on. Looks AWSOME! then I move twards the front, unbolt the OM's, place the new wheels on an then realize.... there is not enought stud sticking through the wheel to start threading the bolts! I stood back, scrached my head... how could this be? The rears fit fine. The rear studs were plenty long enough, why are the front not? ANY HELP PLEASE. ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE. It's killing me to see these beautiful wheel and tires just sitting in my garage. Thanks for all of your input... I'm desperate!

I tryed removing the little bolt on the front disk, and the studs are still to short. The wheel seems to be sitting flush with the disk, so I am not sure what to do next. Replace my studs? HELP!!

The offset should not make any difference. Even if the offset were completely wrong, as long as the bolt pattern is correct the wheels should bolt up. For the record, the rears (19X9.5@.24 offset) and the front (19X8.5@.27 offset). The front is "Face 1" and the rear "Face 2". I checked to see if there was a hubsentric ring in the center of the wheel.... none. I removed the one bolt that was on the disk (factory installed)... nothing. I'm starting to think that I need to replace studs, or confirm that I am using the correct wheel lugs. If there is ANYONE out there that could PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE photograph one of there lugnuts (using the Volk GT-C wheels) and e-mail them to me I would forever be in debt. I'm sorry to ask this of you, but I would much rather buy 20 new lugnuts then 20 new studs!!
PLEASE HELP!!!

This doesn't make sense. Based on your offset, they should fit.
As Monkey Man said, are there hub rings on the wheels? The only thing I can think of is that the hub rings on the wheels you purchased are too small in diameter so the wheel isn't sitting flush. I am not sure how they mount on Volks but most screw on or pop on and off.
There has to be a simple answer, they should fit if the hub ring is right and the bolt pattern is correct. Were these wheels on a 350Z before?

Man that is totally a trip. Real quick. Did you get lugnuts with the wheels. Because the GT-C uses a somewhat proprietary lugnut. It has to be even different than the standard tuner style nut because the bolt hole is very small.
Let me know if you're using the lugnuts he provided.
I have a feeling this is your problem. The lugnut will actually countersink into that hole for the GT-C.
Email me at ardwholesale@hotmail.com. i don't chekc this board much but can solve your problem with some basic info. We wholesale for mackin in our area so i should be able to get you the answer you need.
Peace, Rishie

Sorry to dig this old thread up. I found in a search while looking for info on GTCs.
Did this have to do with an issue with the wrong 'pad' type?
the GTC come in high, mid and low type was that the prob in this situation?

yeah, you have to used a Volk GT-C lugs. If you used other tuner lugs it will not work. GT-C lugs have a extension at the end of the lugs. If you need them email Brian@RacingZoneautohouse.com.
