offset?
ok first of all i know the "search" police will probbably blast me on this one, but, here goes..... i am fairly new to the whole modding scene and am no tecnological genius. i want to replace my stock wheels, but with SOO many options it is starting to get confusing. first you choose brand, then style, then size, and finally offset. the first three i got down, it is the offset that i dont quite understand. i hear people talking about "agressive" offset etc.
would some one in "simple" terms explain me this offset thing?
also is i was curious if you could have a set up with 19's in the front, and 20's in the back? basically i want a set of wheels that have a incredibly deep rear lip.
any help would be greatly appreciated. and for the "search" police---go ahead, i expect your comments--hell it is another oppurtunity to boost your post count!

^^^thats about as simple as it gets.
I'm not going to go all rent-a-mod on you, but I will tell you that there are many threads where people show their wheels and list their offsets and tire sizes, suspension work, etc, that will tell you exactly what you want. This is an easy way to find what you like and what your choices inherent advantages and disadvantages are.

Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check the car with a tape. Do you clear the suspension, brakes calipers and fenders? Reference: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

Think of it as this way, the lower the offset the more the wheel is going to be pushed out of the wheel well. The higher the offset the more it is going to be sunk into the wheel well.

sounds close to stock...might be ok for your fronts (maybe a lil lower would be good)...but you could go wider in the back...

Please don’t buy them! search picture of other members wheel in wheel/tire section.
Offset is the distance of the mounting surface of the wheel (the back pad where the wheel meets the hub of the car) to the center line of the wheel. Wheel offset and wheel width go hand in hand.....you can't get any info on how it will look, fit, clear etc without knowing both pieces of info
That being said, 18x9.5 +35 is not going to give a very good look on the car at all (and sounds like a generic, cheesy wheel shop type fitment to me)
