Default 40 series on 20"

I run 20's with a 35 series Yoko and I have an Eibach Pro kit installed (drop 1.2 inches). So you should have plenty of room. My set-up has never rubbed.

The best tire size for 20" would be 255/35-20 for the front and 285/30-20 for the rear. Assume that you have 20x9 and 20x10.

It could potentially mess up your VDC and/or ABS due to the overall tire diameter being to tall.

I am running 245/35/20 in the front, and 285/30/20 in the rear. If you need some pics I can post them...

40 series are really going to be too tall.

The 40 series is 1.12" taller in sidewall height than an equivalent 30 series tire and 2.24" in overall height

Sorry, my car have a lowering kit already...so that won't do much for you.

but honestly, don't go 40s, it is way too tall...not only will it make the rim look smaller, you might have problem with rubbing and all.

If you run 40 on a 20" rim,the speedometer will have inaccurate reading... the wheel will be TOO tall and it may fxxx up the VDC
