Name a tire. Any tire and someone will tell you that it is a “great tire.” The mind has an uncanny ability to rationalise after spending $700.

Before buying tires check these test results:https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ighlight=tires.

Ok,

Hopefully it is just a mounting issue, but I have a small Tire Leak on my left Rear tire. They are gonna remount it tomorrow. I checked to see if maybe I caught a nail or something but I didn't see anything. I'll let you guys know what happens tomorrow.

Am I the only one that thinks these INVOs would totally suck on a car running negative camber?

Those 2 huge water channels are meant to be mounted, facing the inside of the wheel. When you're running negative camber, you ain't gonna have **** for rubber on the ground. In truns it would be better but straight line stop and go would blow.

I haven't ran into that problem. I'm dropped around 2-2.5"

Hey fellas,

I just finished a drive to my girl's house in the rain. I must say that these Invo's felt extremely solid in the rain. I was very confident @ 75mph in the rain. Very cool tire so far.

I drove mine home in the rain from formula D last night , solid as normal.

Now for the camber issue as mentioned above. The inner tread block is actually almost solid, unlike most other tires. With 2 degrees of rear camber i have no problems.

That tread pattern just looks stupid. That, and the fact that it was one of the worst tires in this comparison means that I'll continue advising against them.

Most of those tire comparrisons are biased. It depends on which tire sponsor happens to be paying the highest. They switch those lists all the time, besides Michellin is at the top and thier price increase is up 20% on already expensive tires.

The test results are from Consumer Reports. Consumer Reports accepts no advertising. Test are done double-blind: the driver has no idea what tires are on the car.

So you are saying that the entire staff of one of the most respected consumer publications is on the take?

Invo's are nice. They are super quiet. It's also good in the rain. If you go on corvette z06 forums, this is a popular tire. They replace their run flats and they say the z06 is so much more quiet and smooth.

I switched from the 555s to the INVO's as well. I couldnt be happier with the tires especially in a 20" application.

The grip is amazing on these, even though i have crazy camber. Nothing like have 11" rear wheels!

It doesn't matter what place they come from Consumer reports or even motor trend. It is very easy to sway an opinion during a comparison. Besides what size tires were tested? Some tires perform much better in wider applications. If you were to match up a 285 vs 215 of course your gonna have amazing grip compared to the other. Honestly, you can say whatever you like about these tires but 80% of the posts in this thread have been positive, and from people who own and use the tires. Not from people searching reviews.

^ yea but ive seen the same results in that test for the past 10 years michelin is always number one with the pilot sport, not saying its a bad tire, but it can't be that good for that long, only the nissan VQ can have that
