Bronze Nismos would look amazing and get you props from people who know about wheels. Please don't buy cheap knock offs.

yeah, i have been to the factories, in fact, one of my relatives was so proud being able to work in a factory "making jdm wheels". Have you been? whats your point, i have observed them in making their wheels and their so called "quality control" makes american car manufactures look like gods.

didnt wana turn this into why rotas are bad threadm but the op asked about the stigma about them and i gave a straightforward answer. i dont care if that bothers you but thats what rota does.

screw replica kit copiers as well. thats whats wrong with this industry, too many people are cheap. but who am i to say that, i represent a minscule affect in the industry. but all the parts on both of my cars are: authentic if thats what your getting at.

We also had a recent customer crash his wheels head on in to a concrete median at 30mph and the only damage to the wheels were a bent lip. His tire blew out with a large hole and the wheels did not crack one bit. This is very impressive considering my Volk Racing wheel bent from hitting a pothole, and this Rota P45R hit a concrete median head on.

-Dan
whats the point? way to many variables as to why the volk bent or why the rota survived. 10 to 1 the rim may not appear bent, but im sure its out of round.

my lil brother, as a bad driver he is, did the same thing with a pep boys wheel and it still held up? is this the new industry standard now? crashing wheels onto a curb at 30mph?

edit: my posts arent meant to offend you, but it is my experience with the company as well.
anywho, have you been to the philippines before? ask around for the "air force 1" lounge/bar

Who is to say that businesses copying body kits aren't mocked? But generally, because body kits are sooo much easier to produce, and easier to sell, there's more copying.

We'll agree to disagree but i think a lot of people mistaken inexpensive for cheap

I respect you opinion and wouldnt try to persuade you into anything different, as i am not here to persuade the OP. I think its important as a community to support each other, and if Rota's or Axis are what he can afford and he is happy with it, then good for him, and i wish him the best. I have a set of advan RS's on my ZR, but if not, and all i could afford were the rota or axis, i would without thinking twice. You are very fortunate to be able to afford to buy authentic parts but for a majority of the people out there, I feel (my opinion), all they want is a wheel that looks good to them and makes them happy.

OP my apologies for going OT. Just recently though i have noticed one specific company getting ridiculed and it bothers me to see this. Its getting close to how the F/I forum used to be with the bickering..

I appreciate all your opinions and thoughts.
I as a complete nub take everything in with objectivity although sometimes with a little grain of salt

Yep, still digging my Rota's 2 weeks later, the cash I saved on them vs wheels that were twice the price, I threw it down on my annual June Marlin fishing trip in Cabo, and my annual New Years Eve trip to Breck/Vail

Here's the bronze if you were thinking that way omniskillz.
