Default tire size question

Hi guys, I'm getting new tires and I'm not sure what sizes I should get.

My wheel sizes are
19/8.5 25mm offset front
19/9.5 30mm offset rear.

I know that 245/35,275/35 are recommended sizes but I was wondering if i could changes sizes.

I was thinking about 255/35 front and 285/35 rear but I'm not sure if there would be any rubbing problems. Also not sure about some good 285/35/19 tires with decent tread wear.

I was also thinking about 245/35 or 255/35 front with a 255/40 rear. Only problem with this set up is will my rears look too narrow? Also if I should get spacers what size would make it flush with the fronts?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do some search next time. However, both options should work. 255's will be kinda tight but it works. 285's will be good in the rear. anything bigger would bulge.

I would do the smaller set since you bought a set of narrow wheels.

Either of what you suggest will work with your wheels:
  • 245/35-19" ftont and 275/35-19" rear
  • 255/35-19" front and 285/35-19" rear

You have enough offset to easily handle the wider tires without any rubbing.

Price-difference will certainly be a factor.

I would mount the tires first before making any decision about using spacers (and spacer-sizes).
