The only compromise I can think of are Axis Hiros, but they'll offer no weight savings at all and they don't look as nearly aggressive as 10 split-spoke mesh wheels like the Tenzos.

Not that many compared to how much they sell. People just hate because they are not volks or 3k wheels..Only the slowfiftyZ crowd really cares about rims that much.

He will not be posting any more false claims/lies about Rota wheels. It was obvious he had an agenda and that was to question the quality/reputation of these wheels. PAWI (company that manufactures Rota wheels) has been producing wheels for 30+ years. Rota produces 25,000+ wheels a month, many of these wheels are for OEM manufactures like Toyota, Ford, VW, Mercedes, etc.. here in the Philippines. I was just at a big Philippines OEM car show where Toyota was premiering there new 2009 Vios car featuring a wheel known as the "Rota Tarmac 2", a wheel that we have sold tons of in the US for the Subaru market. Also as seen on the my350z forums, there are tons of cars running Rota P45R, Rota Torque, etc.. for the past couple years with no failures due to manufacture defects. In fact I've only seen one post where someone cracked a wheel and it was due to extremely low tire pressure (very dark ring around the center of the tire) and then hitting a pothole.
Rota wheels have proven to be quality wheels time after time.

Oh by the way... I didn't know Dan you have released a new model of Rota Subzero
I just love the curved spokes...just love them Are you going to use them also for your OEM Toyota wheels?
(Turboed Civic's done this mayhem...imagine what were torque numbers on that beast )
Yeah I know it is total BS....it was totally staged by me and the picture is photoshopped, as I am making a huge profit on bashing Rotas NOT

google for what R compound tires will do to ultra-lightweight split spoke wheels at the track, even high quality wheels like Enkei. Again, it could be an example of poor quality, but without ALL the details, it's just another stab at Wheeldude and Rota.

Your post are so dumb VQ, you do realize by posting pictures without an explanation is really pointless and proves nothing.
I've owned many high end wheels over the years and do I blame Volk or Work for making a crappy wheel when my wheels go bad? Not at all because anything can happen given the conditions. Also I've seen many drag cars snap/bend wheels in half off launches and many of these wheels were high end forged wheels.
One of my bent Volk Racing CE28 wheels (friend made the photoshop) I hit a pothole going pretty slow. One of the other wheels in this set is also bent pretty bad on the lip
Work Emotion cracked all the way through
Volk TE37, I hit a tiny pothole and the entire wheel folded up in to a ball? Never seen anything like it. WHEELS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THIS
jk this one is not mine, no idea what happened to it
