Cause its not the 60's , 70's, 80's or even part of the 90's. Chrome is a thing of the past.

Drive thru the slum areas of your home town and see how many SUV's, 25 year old Honda's and minvans have chrome rims and how many have polished rims.
I bought chrome 18's for my truck over 4 years ago.
I now hate the rims on my truck and hate my truck because of the wheels. I feel like a damn Mexican when I drive it.

I'd choose chrome over polished as it has more "pop" to it and is much easier to clean.

My opinions:
Chrome is unnatural looking, and 'pops' way too much, especially on darker colors. By that I mean it's as thought it's so bright that there is too much contrast between it and the rest of the car.
Polished, while still offering a good shine, is not as brilliant of a shine. Its a softer, more natural look compared to chrome.

Ah, now I see what you mean. You're definitely right about chrome looking unnatural. I think if I see polished wheels in person instead of just pictures I'll see what you mean about them having a more natural look.

LOL so what made you get rid of the iForged rims? Any problems with them? I'm planning of ordering some during the winter in race gold.
