I am not a wheels expert but been on the forum for a while now, I check the wheels and tires section almost everyday and you will not find anyone whom has 19F and 20R, I know there are few people whom has 18F and 19R, beside all the Nismo Z owners. So, to each his own, I doubt you will have any problems except the resell value and demand. It all depends on the wheel and offset to determine if they will look good or not. Personally its not my cup of tea, and most people will agree to that.

A friend of mine drives an IS350 and decided to go that route. He did some maya mrs's in diamond black in 19f and 20r. He decided to go that route because he wanted larger wheels, but didn't want to change the stance of his car at all. With the 19/20 setup he was able to get the same overall diameter as his stock 18" setup.

19F and 20R would be a good combination. The tires’ sidewall heights will be about the same front and rear if you maintain the Z’s front/rear height stagger (0.8” greater overall diameter on the rear). That means you will have a reasonable cushion on the front tire (mounted on a 19” wheel).
Done Deal Dr mentions that a 20” tire is expensive, and he is right. But, that is because you will be purchasing something like a 285/30-20” (or even wider) tire.
Also consider that the 20” rear/wheel is pretty heavy, and the wheel/tire setup is even worse since you are probably going to mount a very wide tire. I’m pretty sure you will notice a loss of acceleration on the low-end with this much weight. But, it will look good.
Question: What size tires are you thinking about for this 19F/20R setup?

For example, a 245/35-19 Kumho SPT is $156. A 245/35-20 is $107.

Here are my thoughts on wheel sizes for the 350Z:
17" - Autocross
18" - Street/Road Course
19" - Show
20" - Baller
