Default How long before TPMS goes off?

Checked the pasty up top and couldn't find the answer. So anyways, my light went on this morning (it was cold and rainy), so I filled the tires. All four were right at 30psi, so I put them up to 35psi like the manual says. So I drive another 4 miles and the light still didn't shut off. The manual only says to drive over 16mph.

So my question is, how long must I drive before the dang light goes out?

its odd...sometimes it takes longer than others...

temperature affects it....etc... just drive around and dont worry to much, becuase you know you put 35 in each...it just may take longer..

Light goes out after about 40 miles of driving, or simply turn your car off, and then on again.
On the opposite end, I have no TPMS in my wheels right now (left them on the stockies). The light doesn't come on until after about and hour and a half of driving (so only on long road trips). When I finally arrive at whatever destination I'm going and shut off the car, the light goes away after I start the engine again.

they normally turn off after 2-3miles of driving for me. if they don't turn off and you are sure there is at least 35psi in each tire than bring it to nissan to re register the tpms.

The same thing used to happen to me with my aftermarket wheels and no TPS. Now the light is on all the time.
