Default Slicks

anyone have any suggestions for a good wheel and slick combo...i have never used slicks before so i also need to familiarize myself with the sizing...i have seen the thread with the rx-7 fc rims with 245 DR's.....but im thinking of just getting slicks since im just going to use them for the track thanks in advance....all comments are welcomed

Slicks for drag racing or competition tires for open road racing? Plenty of recommendations in the appropriate motor sports forum.

D.O.T. Drag Radials are sized just like regular tires. If you are a racer then you know about class restrictions on tires and sizes.

Slicks on the other hand are sized like this:

26.0'' x 9.0''-15''

For wheel width recommendations see: http://www.hoosiertire.com/specdrag.htm
