Default New wheels

Sup everyone

I was wondering when you change wheels size does it mess up your alignment/camber etc?

i had track wheels dropped on tanabe gf210 and got an alignment that was pretty close to stock spec...Now i got 19s and kinda worried about the camber...

anyone?

Terrasmak is correct. The only difference is that your 19" tires will cost more than 18" tires when you have to replace them due to accelerated wear of the inner tread. I just went through that. Next mod for me is camber / toe kit and a good alignment, because that's cheaper than buying new rear tires in 15k miles.

Ok so it doesn't change alignment.

Does it change camber and toe?

what has been posted above is strictly speaking correct, but new wheels might modify the way your car handles, e.g. when the offset is different. keep in mind that the offset of stock wheels for some models/years is different for the front and rear, while the wheels you're considering might be identical. Making the wheels offset identical is no necessarily a bad thing, but you should know that it will affect understeering/oversting. Also changes in the tire width will have impact on handling. Finally, what I just wrote doesn't have much impact on Sunday afternoon cruising, but if you consider spirited driving (and this is 350Z forum after all) - it may.
