lol @ $300 a wheel as being expensive.
Deff save up for a quality set of wheels. Go to some local meets and see what people are rockin. You will clearly see why a quality wheel stands out compared to crap wheels like Rota. Check out the local for sale forums or even craigslist or something. Think of it this way, do you really want to look at your car and see sh*tty wheels?

Not everyone can afford $3K+ for a set of wheels. I think it's funny that you single out Rota wheels in your post. There are cheap replicas out there that are made in China and do not pass JWL/VIA standards or go through testing. Rota however does do extensive testing and their wheels meet all JWL/VIA standards.

If Rota wheels were so terrible would Toyota (only the largest car manufacture in the world) have Rota make OEM wheels for them?

even then, I said "at least 300$", meaning most of the wheel snobs will laugh at anything lesser. 1200$ for a set of wheels is not expensive, 4k for a set of wheels is expensive..

and yes, single out rotas, because they look as good as the higher ends but cost a third as much.
