they look alright......... IMO i think a rim with a lip would look better on a z. the rims that you have in the pic will look great on an audi or bmw. but hey, if you like it go for it.

Every wheels doesn't have to have a lip. Those wheels look KICK *** on the Z. What's the big fascination with the deep lips anyway? I could take 'em or leave 'em. Deep lips makes the wheels look smaller. Makes a 19 look like an 18 and so on.

These bad boys look just fine on the Z with no lip!

BTW....those are only 18's....could pass for 19's easily because the spokes extend to the edge of the rim.

This is very true.. I compared my 18" stock rims with my buddy's G35c stock rims, and his rims looks bigger! The spokes are extended to the outside edge and that makes it looks much bigger than really is..

Oh, I agree, they make the wheel look bigger when the spokes go to the EDGE of the wheel (NO LIP), BUT when you have 19" wheels, NO NEED for them to look "bigger" (I don't want 20"s on my Z or the look of 20s).

That concept applies to my old Hondas, when you had to run such small wheels, BUT when I have such big wheels already, No need to make them look "bigger"

im glad to see some people on the non-deep dish side of the force. usually people in here are so brainwashed into thinking they have a 996 they need a 4" lip.
now, do not mistake my intentions as "lip-bashing". those 5zigen's are REALLY tight imo, but not 4-5 grand tight

my concern for alot of non deep dish rims was pointed out in here, that being they could have a tendency to not show off the z's rear wheel drive ability to have fatty's in the rear with a good dish.

i think there is plenty of dish in these babies...

I've always been a fan of the 5-spokes, seems like they're all too elaborate though...

I'm thinking about getting 5-zigen Evo's...

so simple and clean looking.

Well, these rims are nice. Now, I did buy some deep dish rims, but to each is own. Now I really, really like some 5 spokes from foose that had no lip, but ended up with the iforged. The foose are sooooooooooooo sweet to me, have to include a pic:

this car has a LOT more in common with a 996 vs a Civic, dress it up how you like, but for me, this is my "996"

i dont think 10" wide 19"s are civic wheels. but i do see your point, you get a car that can handle rims with lips, why on earth would you want any different? like you said, its all a matter of preference.
