Default anyone experienced with these wheels.

I found these wheels on ebay and I thought they were nicely priced. Has anyone had these wheels on a Z? Are these good or bad wheels?

Those wheels are lead weights! 25lbs for 18" wheels. Yikes!

The offsets are horrible too. You can find much better elsewhere. Don't cheap out on a set of wheels. Maybe look at Rota if you're trying to keep it under a budget.

I'm very satisfied with my Rota G-Force's. Found them on eBay for $630 + shipping. 18x9 +30 and I have 275/35/18 all around.

I thought the very same but it is really hard to keep my Sterns while I see other members with incredible wheel set ups and not to mention how aggressive those set ups look. I wanna go 19" and HUGE lip. The only wheels that I have found so far with big lip are Work Varianza T1S but these are a bit up there. I will buy either a new set of wheel or front and back BBK when I get my tax refund next year (it is coming sooner than you think)

XXR bought out sportmaxx.

I would suggest to go with rota, as those don't look as flush as you would think. (they are more so a VS-XX rep)

Stick to your pennies or fork over a couple grand for some rotas.

These were taken the day I put them on and the car hadn't been washed in awhile. Ignore the bumper, unfortunate encounter with a hard immovable object. But, these show the wheels on the car.

18x9 +30 with 275/35/18 on all 4. Factory springs/shocks/camber.

The track shots are from VIR Full Course last weekend.

Does the weight, size and offset suits your needs?
Do you like the wheel?
Then go for it.

Sportmaxx changed their name to XXR. Crappy wheels with weak fitments. PASS

I've seen them on a Z and from a far they look decent but when u get up close... I'd pass for sure. As many have said for the in expensive route you cannot go wrong with Rota's.... I myself am waiting on quick cash in-fusion to get a set..

Thanks. I'm working on getting the body back to looking good now. Could have done it with the money it took to go to VIR. But, hey, racing is more important!

Cheap wheels on a Z? I was thinking about doing this too but after thinking about it, I respect my car too much to buy it cheap/knockoff wheels. Im not just talking about brand names, but also quality. Im not saying those aren't good quality, but they are not proven. Volks,Works,SSR etc. are all proven wheel companies and you'll know what you'll get. Right now im saving up for some TE37s and it will take me a while before I get them. But I want to do things right the first time and not have to regret anything.

I agree with you on this. I'm battling this very same decision. I wanna get new set of wheels but at the same time I wanna get me a BBK from Rotora (15" rotors) wow!!! but this is going to cost me a lot. My back up plan is to look in the for sale section.

They may be cheap, but I won't cry if I bend/break one at the track or if anything else should happen to them. If you break/bend 1 Volk that equals an entire set of mine. I highly doubt any of you superstar track drivers will notice 5lbs per wheel. Maybe you have forgotten that the Z is still a cheap sports car and not that special to begin with? While you are obsessing about having superfly Volks I'll be loving everyday I look at my car with my "cheap replica wheels". I can even afford multiple sets for the cost of 1 set of Volks so I can have Friday wheels, Saturday wheels, Sunday wheels, and track day wheels. Just cuz I like variety. Has anybody else on this thread actually raced their car? I have, my replica wheels helped me go faster than race cars at VIR. 2:27 with a stock suspension, stock non-Brembo, base model 350Z at VIR full course. 15" brakes? What for? Totally unnecessary. The factory Brembo's with race pads is more than 90% of drivers will ever need in the first place!
