Actually...... I am now running an 18" rear wheel all around. I have a 275/35/18 in the front and a 305/35/18 in the rear. But the 18" front and the 19" rear was fine I just wanted a 305 tire. I was using a 295/30/19. The 305/30/19 was only approved for a 10.5" rim and I am using a 10" wide rim. The 305/35/18 can be used on a 10" wide rim so I went that route so now I have 18's all around.

well im figuring if you can run a 305 on a 10'' rim then a 295 on a 10'' rim will be just fine! and once again thank you!

i think 1010tires.com's tire size calculator is off by 0.5" on tire fitments

Just go by the manufacturers recomended rim/tire width chart. You'll always be safe.

The 305/35/18 is approved for a 10" rim in the 18" size becasue of the taller sidewall. You should not put a 305/30/19 on a 10" wheel as per the manufacturers specs don't allow it. The height of the sidewall plays a factor.

You're welcome!

Yes, they are. Sure all tires are different but I have yet to see a street tire including the PS2 equal in size to a similarly sized R888.

My 285 R888s are pretty darn wide. I have a pair on 10.5" wheels and they look slightly stretched because of the 30 sidewall. The other pair is on 9" wheels and they look slightly pillowed.

Many people put 275s on 9" wheels, that's sort of the "accepted maximum" on a 9" wheel. Rules of thumb are to add 10mm of tire width for every 1/2" (12mm) of additional wheel width, putting the 295 at the lower acceptable limit on a 10" wheel. I see no problem with it myself.

The Vredestein 295's are quite narrow.

i thought so to. i had pilot sport 286 before and they looked wider.

problem for me now is that there isnt a R888 255/19 tire.. and i cant fit smaller..and i think if a 265 is wider then normal tires then i cant use it.

what do you guys use? i have 9.5 in the front and 10.5 in the rear i think .

if you are right (about your wheel size) and are 19" you can put 265F and 295R.
check camskill in uk for a really good price (shipped) to sweden.

i have 265/30/19 on a 9.5 front and 295/30/19 on 10.5 rear.

front fits good, rear will need to have rolled fenders and more negative camber.

i plan on -3 camber on all 4.

Depends on the offset, but if your 295 Vredensteins don't fit properly in the rear, it sounds like the larger 295 R888 won't make the issue go away.

Again - depends on offset. YOU may need the rear fenders rolled with more neg camber, but not all set-ups would - especially for a 295-sized tire.
