Default Spacers Installed (Thanks Andy@Performance!)

Well, got my new tires and spacers installed. Went with 25mm all around on the stock 18's and what a difference! Looks and rides better. Also, put on Falken 452's all around. Thanks to Andy for the deal on the spacers. If anyone is thinking bout spacers, do it, you won't regret it. Next up, coilovers for the 1 inch drop!

Why do the spacers make the car ride better? I can see handling better because of a slightly wider track

Actually, the ride improved because I got rid of the hideous REO40's. The spacers didn't affect the ride quality, I think it's mainly looks but I'll get back to you after I take her on the twisties

I haven't purchased one yet, but when I checked out a 350 today...that is the first comment I made to myself. Needs spacers or wider wheels.

Just some tips for you guys on installing the spacers. Put on some loctite on the spacer threads to prevent loosening and I torqued them to 40 ft lbs, then to 90 ft lbs, same with outer lugs. Now, I'm considering the new Bilstein PSS10's ($1600 -- DAAMN !!!)

loctite?? How about just checking them periodically? loctite seems like a little much

^^ I'm talking about putting loctite on the "original" threads. The ones that hold the spacer to the disk, maybe thats the confusion. No loctite on the threads that hold the wheel to the spacer. Also, use the blue medium strength type.

This is safe, I wouldnt go overboard, infact just put some on the first 2-3threads and when you screw it down itll get all in there.
Most people make mistakes of over using loctite anyways.
A car lug that uses 90ftlbs of torque is not going to be effected by loctite like that.
