Question Are the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Non-directional?

I just got a set of 2008 OEM Rims w/Bridgestone Potenza RE050A for my 2006however they don't have any Rotation Arrow. I look at the tires for more than 20 min. couldn't find a rotation arrow, however I found markings "outside" and "inside" which were the way they were mounted on the rims.

The local Nissan dealer Techs are a bunch of morons, so I didn't get any useful info from them. I thought all the tires these days were Directional.

The question is: Are the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires Non-directional? Meaning it can be used on either side.

Thanks

If it doesn't have an arrow indicating a rotation direction, then it's not directional and can go on either side of the car. You should follow the inside/outside rules though as that indicates some symmetry to the tread pattern.

Well the tires are mounted on the rims from Nissan factory with the "outside" to the face/front of the rims and "inside" to the the back/rear of the rims. I just purchased the wheel combo from a guy that put aftermarket on his 2008 Z.

Thanks

This info is for everybody. I found out doing some more research thanks to Chebosto.

Mounting

My directional tires were mounted incorrectly and are rotating in the wrong direction. What should I do?
Tires with a "directional" tread design are intended to roll and perform in a specific direction. The sidewall has arrows indicating the rolling direction of the tire. If installed in the wrong direction, the tire will not provide optimum performance. However, no damage or premature wear to the tire will result. The tire should be dismounted and remounted to roll in the proper direction.

My unidirectional tires were mounted incorrectly and are rotating in the wrong direction. What should I do?
"Unidirectional" tires are designed to operate on a specific side of the vehicle. If installed in the wrong position, the tire will not provide optimum performance. However, no damage or premature wear to the tire will result. The tire should be dismounted and remounted to roll in the proper direction on the proper side of the vehicle.

My asymmetrical tires were mounted incorrectly. What should I do?
Asymmetrical tires are designed to improve handling and reduce noise. These tires can rotate in either direction with the correct side facing out as indicated on the sidewall. If installed with the wrong side facing out, the tire will not provide optimum performance. However, no damage or premature wear to the tire will result. Simply have it dismounted and reinstalled correctly.
