Default Problem with spacers

Alright guys, I have a problem with the spacers on my Z. I have 18x9.5 CCW Classics for the front, no offset known because CCW doesn't seem to like to tell offsets, but when I purchased them, they came with a bare spacer w/o the built in bolts so I need extended hub bolts, decided that wasn't the right way to go and now I want some regular spacers with the built in bolts so I don't have to use the extended hub bolts. The spacers that were given to me are 25mm as well. What spacers would you guys recommend? I'm looking at Ichiba 25mm hubcentric spacers right now, but I keep hearing about Project Kics. What should I get quality wise, and where can I get it? Thanks for the help.

I have ichiba's 20mms and they seem to be a quality product. they are on the car and have been AXed and driven quite a few miles with no issues.

I had ichiba 25mm on the rear of my stock wheels, and no problems. If you go with Ichiba, make sure you get the V2 spacers!

It is a hunk of metal. And "other maching processes and different metal types" is a load of bull, just my .02, but is probably true.
I ran these (f and r) for well over a year, no problems.

^ I dont think Id trust spacers that coast 80 bucks for no brand. Ill laugh when I see your nice wheels pop off on the high way. And yes they are made differently just like everything else on the world.

To OP buy some nice ichiba's and call it a day.

I have 20" H&R spacer on the rear and absolutely no problems. Well, except for the fact that i tried replacing them with 25mms spacers and one of the lug nuts on the current spacer is on sooooo damn tight, even the tire shop broke 3 socket ranches trying to take it off. its still on there. I said it might be a sign from the all mighty urging me to leave things as they are. (Yes I believe in that stuff).
In any case, if you're looking for 25mms spacers, they will be pretty hard to come buy as a lot of places have them on back order. I've been looking around since May, which is why I decided to go with 20mms. I got lucky and got these bacause an order was cancelled same day I called to inquire of any are in stock.
So, if you're interested, PM me and i'll tell you what I paid for them and get them over to you, if you want. they're brand new, never been on because of what I said above.
As far as quality, I never had a problem with the 20mms spacer.
Good luck.

It's a hunk of metal that's attaching your wheel to the hub. You don't want to use (or recommend) low-grade metal that's more prone to breaking.

Spacers are a mod that you really should not cheap out on. If you want to save money, buy a Jensen touchscreen for your car... you aren't going to wreck when your audio sounds like crap.

A wheel breaking off at highway speed is a bit different.

I personally recommend H&R.

That is because you are paying for the brand.
Spacers are made of aluminum/magnesium alloy that are cnc machined.
The metal probably cost pennies to make, yet people pay $150+ for it.
You're paying for the brand, not product.

Believe it or not, spacers are all made from the same bulk of aluminum/magnesium alloy-grade block. And are CNC machined as well.

But I understand people leaning toward "name brands" for products. I just don't think I should be paying that extra $$$ for the same product that serves the same function.

Like I said I'm sure the machining and a lot more crap is different. I'm no machinist but I'm sure they are.

I can see where your trying to come from but does it not erk you a little bit that you bought cheap wheel spacers that you dont even know the brand and your trusting these to hold your wheels going 60,70,80,150 mph? I mean yes you save about 30 bucks per pair of spacers but im sure you will like to have a peace of mind getting a good set of ichibas with built in studs and hubcentric rings.....

Actually its a little more than pennies , its Billet to begin with, and there is a good deal of waste to machine them , then the cost of the CNC and upkeep of the CNC , and last another $15 or more in hardware.

Yes i think they are a bit overpriced, but your definatly not paying a lot extra for the name, unless you buy the Kiks crap , then have to pay more for the centric rings and JDM Yo name.

Mine have built-in/pressed studs and machined hubcentric rings.
