Default Circuit Sport Tune wheels...RARE!!!--Updated--03/01/2009

hey guys... I just bought these wheels & tires off my friend originally for his lancer evo. 18-in wheels 9.5in width +23 offsets all around with 5mm rear spacers. Came with Falken FK-452 tires 235/40/18 all around. Will get bigger tires when tire wears out tho. Car is dropped on Eibach Pro-Kit.

I heard these were only made in Japan.

Ride impression... handling & acceleration overall was improved due to lightweight forged aluminum wheels and grippier tires. Speedo is off a bit probably due to the smaller diameter of the tires (seems like your going slower than what it reads.)

Well let me know what you guys think...

I like the shape, but you need to push them out a little more, and get different tires on the rear.

neat rims.

you think so? how much more? i only have 5mm spacers on the rear. as for tires i will go with 245/40/18 front and 265/40/18 rear. But for now i'll keep the tires since they are still BRAND NEW unless someone will take them ;D

If you're sticking with those tires, I'd put the 5MM spacer up front and get yourself a 10 or 15MM for out back.

Needs a 10-15mm spacer up front, and 25-30mm rear.

I think another 5 mil on the rear would be fine if you increased the tire size. the rims look so sunken in on the rear simply because there is no tire filling the gap, and it is sooo stretched. the front rims stick out enough, it's again an aspect of your ride height + tire size in the front messing up the visual dynamic.

on a 9.5, a 265 won't look too bad, fairly 'square'. a 245 however is still narrow for that rim width IMO.

Or 255/265, just got to see if the diameters can be put in check with those sizes.

never heard of them. There is a Circuit Sports that makes suspension parts, but I've never known them to make wheels unless they are just slapping their brand name on some other make.

they are def. branding a wheel. like Ings+ does.

but I honestly can't find a single mention of these wheels by googling it. anyone have a link? they do look like the Advan T7s, or an older Enkei wheel I remember.

Thanks for all the replies...anyways, from your guys thoughts, i'll get a couple more spacers for the front and rear, maybe 5mm up front and 10mm rear. I used the shim spacers instead of the ones with the studs on the rear. So I can only use a lil bit more spacers until i don't get enough turns on the wheel nuts. anymore than 10 or 15mm i would have to use the stud spacers which are pretty expensive. I only spent $20 for shim spacers.

as for tires, I will keep them just because there still a lot of tread left and no point of buying new ones for now. plus i can actually rotate them front to rear since there all the same size. I like the stretched look of the tires so i wouldn't go any bigger than 245/40/18 front and 265/40/18 rear.

I will post you guys the website where my friend bought them. It some japanese website. He had them shipped overseas here.

I'll update the pics as soon as i get the additional spacers on.

wait wait wait...what do you mean "shim spacers"? I hope you don't mean that you are using washers on each individual lug Also, you said "use a lil bit more spacers"; do you mean that you are stacking them?

no shim spacers are just the aluminum discs that fit over the lugs. they are very common for 5mil and smaller.

also, if you are going to keep those stretched *** tires, lower your car.

The name threw me off as well, but these wheels are known as CST(Circuit Sport Tune).

MB Battles now makes the exact same wheel as CST at a much cheaper price(around $150/each for 17's).

So, yeah. Circuit Sports is not making wheels.

CST/Circuit Sport Tune is a completely different company.
