Default tires

hey guys, looking at some new tires for my 07 Z i have the stock wheels with BS RE050A's, and I don't track the car... yet. Now for my question, orignally i was looking at the Falken 452's, but I read a few bad things about them, i.e. road noise. I think i might try the Michelin PS2's but I'm not sure if i need that much tire. Someone also suggested Goodyear Eagle f-1 allseasons, and a friend suggested Yokohama s.drives. I'd like to keep the price down, but road noise and comfort are a concern as well as (obviously) traction. I live in Arizona so I don't really need to worry about rain or snow, but once in a blue moon. Any helpful tips or recomendations would be welcome.

thanks,

Justin

PS2s are the way to go if not Bridgestone RE-0 series. PM me if I can help you with take-offs (low-mileage, lower price than new) for your car.

Yea Toyo T1-R's are solid tires, but a bit on the expensive side. I've also ran Falken 452s and I liked them as well, and tire noise was not an issue. PS2's are the best option, but a bit too pricey if you ask me ..

How do the FK 452's look compared to the stock tires in oem size 225/245 18. Im curious because I have seen falken tires that look smaller than others in the same size.

452s shouldn't be put in the same category as the T1Rs.

they are extremely quiet compared to lets say BridgeStone, but lack the performance as a more expensive tire. They also have sidewall flex causing body roll in the corners. 452s in my honest opinion after having them on for a year or so are more made for 4-door sport sedans. Doesn't have the qaulity to bring the handling to life.

I just put on new Nitto 555's today. I haven't got on it hard yet so I don't know how sticky they are but there is no road noise and the ride is nice. I only got around 28k out of the stock tires.
