Default what size are my rims?

I got the LMGT4's from a dealership a few years back but they gave me no information on the size/offset of the rims
all I have is a part number
4030S-RN889-10 for the fronts
and
4030S-RN892-10 for the rears

they used the stock tires and they are
225/45/R18 for the fronts
and
245/45/R18 for the rears

it's time for new tires and I was wondering
what size are these rims? I know they are 18", but what about the widths + offsets?
is there a default size that nissan dealerships order?
and
how wide of a tire can I fit on them?

....really?

they are 18" wheels. hence the 18 on the tire. i would assuime the widths to be 7.5F and 8.5R. But it can also be 9.5" or even 10.5" as well.. as for the offset, theres no way to tell, and i just dont know what the part numbers mean.

why dont you measure them?

take off your wheel and look at the back?

heres all the available nismo LMGT4s http://www.gruppe-s.com/Nismo/nismolmgt4.htm

the normal sizes for the dealership LMGT4s are a 8.5 and 9.5 fitment with a +25 offset I believe.

the offset is stamped on the inside on a spoke usually on Ray's wheels. and there SHOULD be the size stamped as well. or a sticker on the rim barrel.

if you take a picture it'll be much easier to figure out.

and yeah, just a FYI: the tire will always tell you the diameter of the rim as you can't fit a 19 inch tire on a 18 inch diameter rim... the only thing it won't tell you is the width or offset of the rim, though the tire size can help you guesstimate the width because tires have a rim width range for each size. that is like 'basics 101'

tire size: 245/45/18 is a 245 width tire, that has a 45 aspect ratio (a percentage of the width) and an 18 inch diameter.

you could also... google this information as it is not Nismo or tire brand specific.

ok guys, thanks for the quick response
I just took the rear tire off and it says on it 18x9.5J
but says nothing about the offset - is the J code for a certain offset?
I'm going to take a picture but, with tire sizes 245rear and 225front is it save to assume that the front is 18x8.5 or could it be 18x7.5? would a dealer do that?
also, what is the largest tire I can fit on the 9.5's?

and yes I knew they were 18's from the tires I just didn't know the width or offset
because I also plan on getting spacers once the tires are on and don't have any info on the offset

take off the front and read the size...

a 275 will fit comfortable on a 9.5" width wheel.

I believe that these are the wheels:

http://www.gruppe-s.com/Nismo/Nismo_Z33.htm

Front 8.5 inches – 245 mm tire
Rear 9.5 inches – 275 mm tire

the dealers only offer two sizes, as I said and as Andy posted. no 7.5. for some reason people stretch a 225 on a 8.5, I know another broseph that got a set of LMGT4s with 225's on the front.

thanks man - I figured out that I have what's listed
fronts = 18x8.5 +25
rear = 18x9.5 +30
I just ordered some 275/40/18 and 245/40/18 PZero Nero M+S
now it's time for spacers... what is the recommended for these offsets?
I hear 15mm in the front 20mm in the rear but I'm lowered by an inch - will these rub?

Those spacers sound fine and no you will not rub most likely. Anything is possible.

Good choice. Both tires and size.

Wow, you and a bunch of people can't read? He knows he has an 18'' rim, but doesn't know what width and offset they are.

Driving a 350z doesn't give you special powers to know everything about cars. Everyone's gotta learn somehow. The OP came on here and politely asked a question, give him a break..
