I was looking at my rear tires today and noticed that the inside edges are really worn one tire even has a little bit of wire sticking through ... i was wondering is this because the rear wheels and tires i have on are wider than the stock ones or just an alignment issue never noticed untill now front tires are good no feathering or anything and help would be great
here is a pic of the ride height

Although lowering it will causing it to be off-camber/alignment. Potholes and normal daily driving can cause it as well. Get the vehicle on the alignment to get things fixed.
Also, your aftermarket wheel/tire setup may not be the same overall height as OEM which could also cause apparent camber issues, even if just slightly.
If you're at stock height it's probably the toe setting, not so much the camber. Without having aftermarket adjustable camber arms, the camber will be set by the ride height, so if you're at stock ride height then presumably you're at stock camber. But if the toe is off (most likely you have too much toe-in angle), then the tires will "scrub". This means that the car is moving forward, yet the tires are rotating slightly inward (like walking pigeon-toed). The car is dragging the tires in a direction that they do not want to go naturally, and the relative motion (scrubbing) causes accelerated wear on the inner edge. I know because it happened to my previous summer tires, and finally when I got sick of listening to the terrible "whir-whir-whir" sound I examined the rear tires and discovered the problem.
