Default Winter tire help!!!!

Hello, I have a set of blizzaks. Tires are 205-55-16. They were winter tires for an 08 S2000 CR. Would these work on the Z?? They are on the MSW type 14:http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...Silver+Painted


I know a non-staggered setup is better for winter! Would these work on the Z??

No, they will not work. They're not even close to the size of the Z tires. Are you concerned about driving a Z in Denver? I thought you guys were getting great weather. If anything, put some bags of sand or water softener in the back to get more traction in the rear.

Yeah but they dont need to be close. The CR stock comes with P215/45ZR17 87W front tires and P255/40ZR17 94W tires for the back, which is more in line with the Z. 205-55-16 runs perfect on the CR, but will it on the Z? Winter tires are a MUST!

I don't even know how those would fit on 18" wheels. What year Z is it? Some of the wheels came in 17's from the factory, so maybe that would work. I would be concerned about the aspect ratio and/or height of the tire.

So basically I'd need to know the size of your Z tires.

The tires are mounted on those wheels i posted a link for. The set is 205-55-16. The Z is 08 enth.

Haven't the faintest. There are no specs for the wheel.

Yes you can put 16 inch wheels on a 350Z. If they clear the brakes you are good to go.

i live here in denver too.
i wasn't to sure about droppin the cash for snow tires or just some good performance tires and pulling through (mine were near bald although i've been getting by)
i went with snow tires today.
the link you posted though has rim sizes 14-18. which do you have?

siruis, i have a set of stock 18s with hankook icebears on them. fronts have lots of tread left. rears have maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of tread left. everything for sale. pm me if you are interested.

Go buy them and post pics, I have been interested in seeing a Z with 16" wheels with horrible offsets and 205 width tires.

For my amusement of course.

I would not mount that size (205/55-16”) snow tire on your Enthusiast. It’s over an inch too short (overall diameter) on the front and almost 2 inches too short on the rear.

That setup will look like “butt” and may not run correctly with your car’s TCS or ABS.
