I have toyo t1r 245/275 both are 35 series.
Well I drove 1 hour to buy Mich tires that I was told where 275/35/19
when I got there they where 275/30/19 well for 120 for two mich tires I couldnt beat it.
So priority....is it gonna look bad? I am pretty sure it will have a smaller sidewall than the front 245 which will look horrible.
I have no problem selling them again and getting the proper tire.
what is your take?
I would love to see a pic of this tire mounted if anyone has it.

if you have tcs or vdc, your car will hate you. if you drive a base and can live with the tiny sidewall then keep them. i personally would sell them. for that price they will sell easy if they are new.

The 30 series tires are cheaper than 35 which is why most ebay rim setups have 30 series tires on them to reduce the cost. 35 series sidewall in the exact same tire size is about 40 bux more a tire for some reason, probably production numbers or something. Either way on anything but a base they wont work. You must maintain the ratio difference between front and rear to keep the vdc from freaking out.
i have a 30 series tire in the back and 35 in the front...that was my fault for not paying attention but the tires i went with actually look more like a 35 series. (i have 20 x 8.5/10.5) my vdc doesnt go nuts...maybe its cuz i have the 20 in wheels lol
your front tire is too large now, not your rear most likely
Hey I just got a pair for 20 rims from discount tire, they advised 275/30/20 for the rear and 245/30/20 for the front with 20X9.5 and 20X8.5, are they wrong? I asked the techie why we arent using 35 tall-he said no, you wouldnt want a tall tire, with that spec he said the rolling diameter they are suggesting is perfect. I wasnt sure so I checked tirerack, when you custom look at 20' they suggest this exact tire spec, am I missing something?
Help I will return if they are wrong since I havent received shipment yet

you should be fine.
I was going to run 245/35 275/30 that would throw things off
you should be fine.
You can use a tire calculator to find out the % difference between front and rear and search around but for the Z it should be a ~3% difference obviously having the rear larger
