Default Anyone have the Continental ContiSportContact 3 tires??

Anyone have the Continental ContiSportContact 3 tires?? I want to know how they ride in comparison with other tires..

I am in the market for tires. I am not a hardcore track guy. Although I do go every now and then to the drag strip. I don't want something extremely noisy either..

So far I have been looking at the following:

- Continental ContiSportContact 3
- Kumho Ecsta
- Dunlop Star Specs (about to take off list b/c I heard they are very noisy)

I have Kumho Ecsta on fronts and have no complaints about them. A little noisy when braking but thats about it. Great wet/dry traction

I had Continental tires on my '03 Saab 9-3 and my '05 Expedition. I will never drive another vehicle with Continental tires. Loud, terrible traction and had to get 2 tires replaced on the Saab because of broken belts. Tires on the Expedition only last 20,000 miles with rotates every other oil change

The Saab had ContiContactExtreme's
The Expedition had ContiSportTrac

Might just have been bad luck...it's your call

^ thanks for feedback

My dad has Continental tires on his Merc S550 and they are insanely quiet and smooth. One of my friends also has them on his evo and he says they are very nice, with a good comprise of traction and ride quality..

i was wondering if anyone has any experience with them on a Z..

Think you should check into the General Exclaim UHP, I just bought a set for only $550.00 mounted. They are extremely quiet, smooth riding and perform well in dry and wet.

I just put on some Falken 452's and they are SWEEET.Very quiet and stick good.I expect good tread life also.I once had some Continental self sealing tires on a Lincoln Continetal. They were just a tire that held the car up as far as I cared. When they were wore out,I dismounted the first tire and the sucker must have weighed 100 pounds, full of all that self seal goo.i swear I picked up 3-4 Mpg by getting rid of the weight.
