hey guys,
my tires are finally gonna go, so i am gonna order some wheels soon.
anyways, i was thinkin of stayin 18 in because i am gonna track that car a bit, but also want a nice street ride. i was thinkin of goin with 18x8.5 and 18x10.5 f/r. now i am at a offset dilemma.
the front is ok, but the rear only comes in a +18, 34, 43 mm offset. i would think to go with the +18 because that would give me the nice lip along with the look. now, would i need to roll my fenders? i am planning to lower the car maybe a half inch, so i dont know if it will rub. or should i go with a conservative offset just to make sure?
thanks for the help!

If you wanna track your car, I suggest you go with a 17 inch wheel. The SSR Comp H come 17x8.5 front, 17x9.5 rear, pretty wide for a 17 inch. They're also one of the lightest wheels you'll find (SPEED World Challenge car use them a lot). Plus, the R compound tire selection for 17 inch is far greater than that for an 18 inch wheel. You don't wanna track your car on street tires, do you?
Only thing is, 17 inch is anti-bling, so you'll have to come to terms with that. But that's the only 'downside' of 17 inch. Upside is greater race tire selection, less harsh ride on the street due to slightly taller sidewall, lighter weight of tire and wheel, lower cost of tires and wheels as you buy and replace. Tire rack sells them and will give you the correct offset for them.
