I believe they sanded them down lol. It took them a little while because of the wheels themselves being tough to prep. Yes sir we need that photo shoot.

There is a contrast. I guess you would have to see it in person or with a better camera. I took these with my phone. To me they are Work Meister S1 and they are not cheap. There aint nothing cheap going on this car lol besides that single exhaust that i bought it with. I like the black on black look thats why. Thought of something a little original with expensive wheels. maybe an idea Work can start with their wheels.

Thanks guys for the comments and ideas. I welcome all the comments possible, keep them coming. Overall i just love the black on black look, and Im trying to go for a little originality with my car. Obviously people have done the black on black but the wheels i dont think so. So thats what i am going for, originality. I can always get another set of wheels down the road. Up next. 2JZ!!!!!

I don't think the black on black looks terrible, but I think it looked much better before. Just makes them look kinda cheapy IMO. If you are happy with it though, that's all that matters


by the way...get rid of those riced-out red-painted calipers. Or at the very least, paint them black or silver.

Sick man, never seen S1's painted full black and they look pretty cool. Were they powdercoated or painted/soft baked?

I also agree on the door handles, but I would remove those tails and get some 06+'s.

Oh and in case I forget, black wheels FTMFW.

Same here, it add good contrast, especially with that white plate on the rear. Or black out the license plate.

Thanks guys for the comments and ideas again. Keep them coming. As for another update i got my work decals from s2carbonworks.com. here is how they look. i think they came out perfect. I took these with my old digital camera.

I would do the decal on the spoke too. It's pretty much signature to the S1's. At least do a gloss black to contrast with the matte.

I remember seeing a Lamborghini Diablo with black S1's and they looked great.

 

Im thinking about the spoke decal. im not sure yet.

 

Looks good now (with the decal and better pics). Just need a nice black chrome valve cap and black lugs. A caliper touch-up would add to the look, too.

 

Looks good. A few things I would do:

-Neo Chrome Lugs (Adds a little color to an all black wheel)
-Silver or Gloss Black Decals on Spokes
-Touch Up the Calipers (Silver or Black)
