Default Would spacers help with this offset..

Ok so after thinking about it I've decided to keep my rims for my previous car cuz they match really well with silverstone. Privat Netz forged Grey 18x8's. Again the problem is the offset is +40 I'm thinkin that if i add some 20mm spacers in the front and 25mm (Ichiba) in the back would it help at all? or maybe even 25mm all around.. Just want to here some opinions.. I'm not looking to roll my fenders, nor would I have to b/c i'm not lowering. Thoughts

What do you mean "help?" It will move the wheels 20 or 25 mm. If that's what you want go for it.

^^ I agree. Installing spacers is a simple concept. You just install whatever you want to get the “look.” 40 offset on the wheels with a 20-25mm space will work.

Of course mounting wheels with the correct offset (and not using spacers at all) is the best.

lol yes "help" as in getting the rims out more than stock.. My 03 has 17's, and from the research it appears that the front offset stock is +30 and rears +33.. with a +40 offset with my aftermarket rims and adding spacers of 20-25mm it should stick out better than stocks no?

yes they will stick out more than stock...but your wheels will still be sunken in seeing as how they are only 8 widths....did these wheels come off a lexus or honda s2k?...just asking noticing widths and offset

ideally...most run 9.5's fronts with low to mid 20 offsets...and 10 or 10.5s low to mid 20's offset rears...so ur almost a full 1 inch off still with the spacers...so add another 25 mils and ude be in the norm...i do not suggest adding 40+ mil's of spacers...my suggestion is save up and find another set of rims...or sell the ones u already hve and find wheels that fit better without having to add any kind of spacers...sorry and im not trying to flame on ya or anything but that'd be your best bet

I agree with what others have said. You can make them "work" like one makes stock wheels work (18x8 wagon wheels or 18x8/18x8.5 06'+ wheels) with spacers, but you'd be limited to the same small tires (225/245, 245/255).

Yea these rims come from my previous car the tiburon and thts why the offset is so high.. Also I'm lacking funds to buy new rims plus I love the way these look too.. I'm not looking for performance but at least use the wheels I already have with
Good size.. Just a crappy offset imo
