what is your max price range for both wheels and tires. The z is a sports car not a crown vic. you need some light flush good looking wheels. Give me your price range and i will show you some nice sets.

brink, we're gonna try to help u out here. we're a friendly community that says the truth in terms of opinions and we try to give out good advices whenever needed. if u need any type of information, we got tons of pros that can chime in and drop u in the right direction.

just assume you're getting rid of those wheels and topping it up with extra cash. how much totally do you think u'll come up with??

put a budget number, and ppl will start giving u great ideas. believe it or not, tons of ppl would've spent over $5k just for looks, why?? because they haven't got directed to a great deal (which is why we all are here for).

I'd say my price range is $1000.. A set of 06+ OEM wheels look great to me... I may consider buying a set of eBay if I could get rid of these wheels.

Wheelguy.com is a sponsor on here and can hook you up with some really aggressive and nice looking Rota's in your price range.

for $1000 only u can get good wheels, but that's excluding tires.. maybe another 500-700 will get u tires. so, u better save up a little and get them later.

Even more more terrible...

225/40-18” tires on wheels sized at 18x7.5” with a 42 offset is about as ugly a wheel/tire setup that I’ve seen on the Z. It goes way past the ugly some of us mount for our winter wheel/tire setup (for practicality, but never for appearance).

Dave079 was very kind when he gently pointed this out to you. But, you threw that back in his face. That wasn’t very smart.

Get rid of that ASAP.

Ok so let me get this straight... When looking for rims I need

If Staggered
18x9.5 Back
18x8.5 Front

If not
18x9.5

What size tires do you guys recommend? I just saw this size on one of the links above.
245/40/18 front
275/40/18 rear
?

Also what offset will work ok? 30mm and 33mm like stock? Sorry im a newb obviously since I bought these shitty wheels.

I really just want to buy a wheel/tire package... I'm thinking about just bidding on some 06+ Stock 350z 18" wheels so avoid all of this mess.

I’m glad to see that you are staying with this.

Your idea for wheels (18x8.5” front and 18x9.5” rear) is good.

And, tire sizes you suggest (245/40-18” front and 275/40-18”) is also good. If you go with 19” wheels, change the profile to 35.

22 offset for the wheels will look great, and with this setup, you won’t have any rubbing. You could even go with a 30 offset (just a little more “tucked”, but still looks fine).

I love the looks of these wheels only because of the chrome lip. The correct size ones that I get will def. have the chrome lip.
