im looking to get some black rims on my Z. either 18's or 19's any suggestions?

 

I suggest you search for yourself.

 

Uhh.. its your car buy the wheels that YOU like and that YOU can afford. What other people say on a online forum doesn't matter. For a start, look in the picture galleries. Lots of pictures of black wheels on 350zs.

i bought the car used and the rims the person put on the car are hideous

 

Unfortunately it doesn't matter what suggestions we give you because by asking the question you are already doomed to get something from ebay or Rotas.

My suggestion is a set of matte black TE's or phantom GTS's.

 

Black TE's are nice, but all too common. The GTS's are a winner.

I would suggest to first get rid of the hood scoop (yes that one) ..whatever is costs to get your hood cleaned up and then think about wheels

 

i don't really mind the hood scope but i have been thinking about getting rid of it but i have to see how much it will cost

i wasn't thinking about getting the tenzo wheels i was just getting a feel for whether or not to get black with the red stripe or not.

 

Bet you can do better job picking wheels for your car than I can.
