Thanks for the followup. We knew it would work. Just was not sure about front wheel clearance.

BTW why are 370Z lug nuts unique? Is the seat acorn-shaped like a aftermarket nut?

Thanks. Very similar to the 350Z OEM nut.

I'm running the 350z OEM lug nut on my wheels, and have probably put near 10,000 miles on it since putting the 370 wheels on, and have had no problems. I check torque every 1,000 miles are so, and it's never been off.

I've worried about this however because of other people posting, but I haven't heard anyone explain why they should be changed.

There's the info. Do the research & tell us what you find out.

Where'd you get the weights from? With tire I assume

For everyone's edification, actual weights of the 19" Z34 RAYS wheels are 23.xxlbs front and 25.xxlbs rear.

I think it has to do with the depth of the lug, I think - I haven't looked at my wheels or my car, so don't shoot me if I'm wrong here, but although the Z34 wheels are generally mounted in a hubcentered fashion - through the use of spacers, the extended portion of the lug is actually designed to keep the wheels centered on the hub - so I'm guessing that perhaps the Z34 doesn't have hubrings and the wheels is centered entirely by the bolts (Stud centered wheels), which typically can be done with an extended lug with a collar like this.

Or it's the other way around, but I suspect that's the reason for the extended lugs, is the wheel mounting system hub centered vs stud centered. I would run the extended lugs just to be safe, but they're not cheap - $8USD each from Nissan IIRC.

Just put a set of black powder coated 370z Rays wheels on last night and looks amazing. Front wheels are 19x9 with GForce 235/35/ZR19 & 20mm spacer, Read wheels are 19x10 with GForce 275/35/ZR19. I like them a lot and looks amazing. here is a link to check them out

Agreed on the centercaps, disagreed on the lugs - I actually like them as they are, but if you're going to go for colour I'd go for an accent colour.

How much did the powdercoating cost if you don't mind my asking?

Good job, my pet peeve is when people don't paint the center caps after painting the OEM's.

+1 on black lugs

eh, not bad, but I think all the angle work in the wheels gets lost with the black paint.

You might find this a bit high, I just bought a set for $1000 plus shipping with lugs and spacers... I'm not trying to troll, I'm just saying you might want to reconsider your price point. The set I got are in perfect condition.
